Nora Grey and her best friend Vee Sky, who is like an un-twin enjoy working at their school’s ezine in Coldwater, a town in Maine. Nora lives right outside the town. Nora’s father died because he got shot and died, and because of this Nora is seeing a therapist. She feels something watching over her and thinks its her dad.
Nora is totally oblivious when she goes into her Biology class and her teacher decides to change where people sit. Nora’s new Biology partner is a guy who just came to the school and his name is Patch. The new guy is weird and something is not right about him. Patch also has a weird smell about him he smells like cigars. When Nora and Patch meet each other it doesn’t go that well because he is very rude and speaks sexually. His way of speaking towards Nora makes her very uncomfortable.
